Handmade from beautiful, natural, durable European linen by egLinen in Lithuania, these linen bento bags are made in line with traditional Japanese "furoshiki", a type of wrapping cloth traditionally used to transport clothes, gifts, or other goods.
Keep one in your bag and use it as needed - I've used mine for fresh fruit, a packed lunch, library books, dog treats - they're incredibly versatile!
Linen is derived from the flax seed. It is a particularly eco friendly fabric because it uses far fewer resources to make/grow than man made polyester (a plastic derived from fossil fuels) or cotton. Flax needs 60% less water to grow than cotton because it is primarily grown in wetter climates and can rely solely on rainwater. It's strong, naturally moth resistant, and made from flax plant fibres, so when untreated (i.e. not dyed) it is fully biodegradable.
100% undyed Linen Pre-washed and softened. Dimensions: approx. 36 cm x 33 cm x 9 cm (14" x 13" x 3.5")
